Fall Mushroom Foraging walk + Feast

In collaboration with the Boy Scouts of America, we walked their protected pristine land in Tusten, NY. Nathaniel Whitemore, local naturalist/herbalist/alchemist, and TaraMarie Perri, founder/director of Perri Institute for Mind and Body, were our guides. Each step along the way was illuminated by the senses as we dove deeper into nature after a thorough introduction to mushroom identification and particulars.

The post-walk feast was hosted at Smokey Belles Catskills Le Petite Cabine in Narrowsburg, NY. We gathered for drinks by the campfire overlooking the Ten Miles river and enjoyed the seat-down feast at the charming and rustic woodland retreat . Our talented guest chef was Ana Ortiz from Day Into Night Kitchen.
